An original pulse drives this five-second video. Hear the quiet gaps, then watch the bars grow, shrink and fade with the recording.

Download the finished MP4 · 70 KB. This is an actual Remixure export, square at 720 × 720 and 30 fps, with AAC audio. Its original source is a synthetic tone; there is no recorded speech or generated music.

Hear what changes the bars.

The first half-second is silent. The recording enters at 0.5 seconds and fades in. Its first pulse makes tall bars; the second is softer. The last pulse is louder, then fades out with the video. Quiet intervals leave the box clear.

Each of the 32 bars shows the peak amplitude of a short audio window. This is not a frequency spectrum or a measure of speech meaning. Only primary audio drives the layer; background music and sound effects do not. The original file stays unchanged.

Rebuild this example.

  1. Start a new video. Download the editable scene document, then open Import a video document, select it, review it and choose Use imported document. It contains one five-second scene without private media. Importing replaces the current draft after review.
  2. Download the original pulse · 96 KB. This six-second mono PCM WAV is provided for reproducing the example. Under Audio and music → Primary audio, confirm permission and upload it. Leave playback speed at 1× · original speed.
  3. Set the primary source start, entrance, volume and fades below. These affect the finished video and its bars; the source-waveform inspector remains a view of the original.
  4. Open Export primary-audio waveform bars. Set the box and color, then choose Review waveform bars → Inspect waveform preview. Seek across silence and sound, listen, and confirm the source, placement and timing before choosing Apply waveform bars.
  5. Preview all five seconds, then save and export. Apply changes one layer and keeps autosave off; one Undo restores the earlier layer. Inspect the completed MP4 before keeping it. Saving or downloading does not publish it.

Download the manual settings as JSON. This recipe describes public files and settings; import the separate scene document and attach the audio in the editor. Download the authored sound descriptions if you want the optional caption track shown by this watch player. They describe the tones; they are not a speech transcript.

Keep the recording and wording clear.

The bars sit above pictures and captions, so leave useful text unobstructed. Use whole percentages for their box. Waveform videos currently support original-speed primary audio, no removed-word timeline, up to 12 scenes and 30 seconds at 720p or 15 seconds at 1080p. Each audio file can be up to 6 MB; total unique media must fit 12 MB.

After reloading a saved waveform video, choose Load waveform preview before playing. Browser decoding can differ from the native export, so listen to the completed file. If waveform exports are unavailable, the saved setting stays intact; remove the layer and save a new version to recover an export. For other audio controls, follow the audio and music guide.
