Follow the words as they’re spoken.
An original eight-second export with synthetic Spanish narration, large captions and a dark box. Each active word turns yellow while the full phrase stays readable. The captions disappear between phrases and after the recording finishes. This square video is 720 × 720, H.264 at 30 frames per second.

Download the Spanish VTT. It contains phrase text and timing; word highlighting is part of the MP4 and is saved separately in your studio project.
Review the words before the highlight.
The recording uses the Spanish Aquila voice. The transcription candidate heard “Dar” in the opening, where the script says “Dale”. We corrected that word before rendering and kept the candidate timing. This example shows why names, wording and timing still need your review.
Automatic captions can retain candidate word times. Open Word timings to adjust each word, then choose Highlight spoken words. A highlight follows the saved timing; it does not establish that the transcript is correct. Gaps between timed words have no active highlight.
For imported subtitles, Prepare evenly spaced word timings gives you a starting point to edit. Even spacing is an approximation. Listen and adjust before exporting, or choose None for static captions.
Make the words your own.
Use your own recording or reviewed narration, correct the transcript, and choose a caption style, position and size. The caption guide covers transcription limits, text edits, Undo and subtitle exports.
